Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Grinning Gargoyle Gaming. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
Shipment processing time for domestic order will be between 3-8 business days as follows:

All orders are processed and placed with the supplier within 1 business day from customer payment clearing.
Distributor order processing varies according to the distributor but usually takes 1-5 days depending on payment clearance times and the efficiency of the distributor and the volume of orders being processed.
Courier delivery times are usually 1-2 business days depending upon the distance involved. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for the delivery for high volume times of the year such as post-Black Friday and pre-Christmas. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates:
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

Grinning Gargoyle Gaming ships to addresses within the Republic of South Africa ONLY.

At the moment we are able to send items via PostNet to a PostNet branch near you.

Additionally, we can send parcels via The Courier Guy to a street address or a Courier Guy Kiosk near you.

We also provide free delivery for local deliveries within Welkom areas only. Or a collection option if necessary.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. Should you have any issues with the courier please contact the courier and provide them with relevant reference number or collection request number when querying a shipment.

International Import Policy
Shipment processing time
Shipment processing time for international import orders will be displayed on the product page and will vary from supplier to supplier:

All orders are processed and placed with the supplier within 1 business day from customer payment clearing.
Shipment time can take up to 15-60 days depending on the country of origin and method of shipping.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates:
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We are charged for the international shipping and so a shipping charge is included to offset this cost.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

Customs, Duties and Taxes
Grinning Gargoyle Gaming is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Once the order has cleared Customs it is sent via Speed Services to your nearest Post Office so that you can collect and pay your customs duties. You can use the same tracking number to track your parcel with Speed Service track and trace.

Damages
Grinning Gargoyle Gaming is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged or it is lost in transit, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside the Republic of South Africa. If you are an international buyer and you wish to purchase from us you will need to arrange your own shipping and have it collected from our offices. You will still be charged to have the items shipped to our offices.

Returns Policy
Our Refund Policy provides detailed information about options and procedures for returning your order.

Refund Policy
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are apparel, sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Downloadable software products
Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use.
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
Any item not in its original condition or that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@grinning-gargoyle.co.za.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@grinning-gargoyle.co.za and send your item to: 420 Stateway, Welkom, 9459.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to 420 Stateway, Welkom, 9459 or to one of the two Postnet branches in Welkom.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over R500, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
